My Friend Rabbit

My Friend Rabbit is a children's picture book book written and illustrated by Eric Rohmann. The book was  published firstly in 2002. The book talk about a tale of the friendship between a mouse and a rabbit.

"My friend Rabbit means well. But whatever he does, wherever he goes, trouble follows". Once Rabbit pitches Mouse's airplane into a tree, Rohmann tells most of the story through bold, expressive relief prints, a dramatic departure for the illustrator of The Cinder-Eyed Cats and other more painterly works
This book was named as the Caldecott winner in the past 2003. In 2007 one of an American commercial broadcasting television network named NBC adapted this book into its animated television series and reached succeed after awarded on the Pulcinella Award for Best Preschool TV Series 2008, and the Alliance of Childrens Television award for Best Preschool Series 2009. My Friend Rabbit was also Nominated for 3 Gemini awards for Best Direction (Jason Groh),Best Musical Scoring (John Welsman) and Best Screenwriting (Steve Westren). Steve Westren won the Gemini Award for Screenwriting.
